japanese schoolgirl inferno

this book is packed with cool and hilarious info about japanese girl fashion which, according to the book, has been raging since the 40s. the illustrations, by kazumi nonaka (who usually draws bunnies and old people), are so cute and funny.

the book is organized by era and style of girl, such as kigurumi, sukeban, gothloli and blackface. each style is accompanied by a dry~ditzy breakdown of essential items and ideal boyfriends. this is the best book i have read in a long time and probly will be until i get my warcraft books in the mail. you can find more info about the authors, izumi evers and patrick macias, at their website japress. i highly recommend you buy this book at amazon for really cheap or at least read it at borders like we did. ;P
