While on an all-American, West Coast vacation, I couldn’t help but think,
“Wow! this is so beautiful. So beautiful that I really want to roll all of this beauty up into a ball. The cows grazing in the meadows, roll em up! The picket fences and flower patches, roll em up! the sea shells and drift woods, roll those up too!”
What?! Why would anyone want to roll up the beauty into a ball? Well, when you spend countless hours playing the third-person puzzle game Beautiful Katamariyou might begin to understand.
This is how I felt about fantasy growing up – why did it have to take up all that room in the sci-fi section? It was annoying to have to sort through books about unicorns and dwarves when I was just looking for that book about hive mind aliens and putting the internet into a female human body.
So with all that hateraid, how did I 360 into a full-fledged fantasy nerd? Basically, I read some amazing game manuals, thanks to a certain cute, enthusiastic girlfriend.
Stupefying Death eaters has been a blast. Sadly it is now over for I have recently finished playing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 for Xbox 360.
The highly anticipated expansion of World of Warcraft is almost here. The almighty powerful dragon Deathwing has escaped from his imprisonment and has scorched the entirety of Azeroth.
I have been playing a lot recently and while playing you can already see the changes that have taken place in Azeroth. Stormwind is on fire and according to my guild mate looks a little like “Roger Rabbit” land. The high contrast technicolor fire blazes do look a little synthetic but it is still fun to see all the changes that have taken place in the world.
The whole realm of Azeroth is in danger the land is ablaze. Towns have been demolished Auberdine is now The Ruins of Auberdine. My night elf hunter let out a cry of despair when she stood looking at the mess followed quickly with an “LOL”.
It took nearly 4 hours to get the patches downloaded to get ready for Cataclysm. I lost about 3 days of game play because of this. I have a busy schedule, but it was worth it the world is totally new again. Earthquake like shaking occurs in intervals reminding you that you are not safe. It is very exciting to re explore and feel the anticipation in the air.
I was highly impressed with the cinematic trailer for Cataclysm please watch you will not regret it!
The Expansion will have new characters you can choose from like mentioned in a previous article. Worgens and Goblins are the two new races to choose from with worgens being alliance and goblins being horde. A preview of the female Worgen dance was just released to the public. It is modeled after Lady Gaga’s “Poker face” routine. So weird and funny.
One of the most exciting and impressive booths at E3 was Nexon America’s. Before E3 We had received emails from several Press Reps asking us to schedule times to meet with developers and watch demos of new upcoming games. Some of them sounded cool but very impersonal the emails you can really tell were just mass emails with no personality or flare. When PR Robert Holtzman emailed us it was different I got the sense what he had to show us was really important. I was right!
I had already played Maple Story a game that was released by Nexon Korea. if you know anything about MMO’s you know that Korea is one of the leaders in this industry.
In the demo room we were shown in game demos and trailers from all the new games was releasing some are availible already! the producers each presented they’re game and let us know exactly what each had to offer it’s players. My favorite was Dungeon Fighter.
Dungeon Fighter is a cool arcade style beat em up game with rpg features and mmo capabilities which we all love!

Luis Reyes is the Associate Producer of Dungeon Fighter. It’s like Street Fighter/Renegade Brothers/ World of Warcraft all in one! This game is very popular in China. It has classic 2d graphics i love. My favorite of the different characters you can choose from is Female Gunner and Slayer.
Female Gunner’s are special girls who are mandated to train and become part of an elite imperial guards division called Imperial Princess Garden. You can specialize in ranged weapons, launched or other amazing weapons that can blow any enemy to hell!
Slayers are cursed by a demon and are doomed to wield weapons with only one arm. The by demon within is held at bay chains that prevent him from using the other arm it’s a long honorific story with one arm these dudes kick major ass and also have the power of magic behind them.
The game is free to play and download. Your character becomes more unique the more you play and the more money you earn it’s all around awesome!!! Thank you NEXON visit Nexon has to offer!
